I used to host a simple site on my own servers, but I decided it’s easier to just use Google and WordPress instead.

The initial intent of the vanity domain was just to have a place to direct people to my resume and other things I had posted. Later with the explosion of social networking and related sites, the domain sort of housed an uber profile.

We’ll see how it evolves.
