Turns out that Curcuit City was bought by a company that is liqudating their merchandise. Problem is that, while they advertise up to 30% off, the majority of items are only 10% off. And it appears that the base prices are not the previous Curcuit City prices, but MSRP. I also noticed their stock was limited on bigger ticket items.
